Spiritual awakening is not a feeling. It is a recognition.
The sleeper does not decide to wake up because they have run through the logical arguments for consciousness.
They wake up because something breaks through: a sound, a light, a presence that the sleep cannot accommodate.
Spiritual awakening works the same way: it is the moment the soul recognizes what has always been true but was not being seen.
The prodigal son came to himself in the pigsty.
He did not have a theological breakthrough. He woke up to his actual condition and the reality of what he had left behind.
That waking up was the beginning of everything.
