Biblical leadership begins with the most disorienting inversion in the New Testament: the greatest among you shall be your servant. This is the structural redefinition of what leadership is in the kingdom of God. The culture around Jesus ranked leaders by how many people served them. A genuine apology is one of the hardest things a person can offer, and one of the most necessary. It is hard because it requires the open admission that you were wrong.
