Consistency is the unglamorous foundation of every lasting thing.
The dramatic moments get the attention: the breakthrough, the miracle, the sudden turn.
But underneath every significant outcome in Scripture is a pattern of sustained, repeated, unremarkable faithfulness.
Daniel prayed three times a day before the lion’s den. David tended sheep before he fought Goliath. Jesus spent thirty years in obscurity before three years in public ministry.
The Bible does not romanticize the spectacular at the expense of the steady.
It treats consistency as a form of faithfulness, the daily decision to keep doing what God requires even when the results are not yet visible, even when no one is watching, and even when stopping would be easier.
