Paul thanked God for his friends by name.
Philippians 1:3 says I thank my God every time I remember you.
He wrote that from a Roman prison to a church that had supported him financially, prayed for him consistently, and sent Epaphroditus (a church member from Philippi who personally carried their gift to Paul) to care for him in custody.
